Danish e-invoicing B2B social network operator Tradeshift has entered an agreement with US-based e-invoicing services provider Invoiceware International.
The partnership allows enterprises on the Tradeshift platform to take advantage of the validation and compliance technology provided by Invoiceware International. The Tradeshift – Invoiceware International partnership provides a solution by ensuring invoices exchanged with companies in these countries meet and abide by the regulations set forth.
There is a compulsory mandate to use e-invoices in Brazil, Mexico and Argentina with other countries following suit soon. If not compliant, the government can shut down operations, levy significant fines, and raise criminal charges against the management team.
Invoiceware International operates the Global Compliance Network, a cloud-based platform that delivers financial and supply chain managers the regulatory processes they need while eliminating ERP configurations and customizations for the IT staff.
Tradeshift’s business model is based on creating an API platform for free, thus allowing third parties to create other applications, as well as create a network with their suppliers, customers and partners to streamline common business processes.
In recent news, Invoiceware International has released a new version of their electronic invoicing service for multinationals needing to comply with the Documentos Tributarios Electrónicos (DTE) requirements by Chile’s Servicio de Impuestos Internos (SII).
